The C1-525x is a 5.25-inch (130 mm) coaxial speaker system engineered to provide a significant performance upgrade over factory speakers. It features a mineral-filled, injection-molded polypropylene woofer and a true edge-driven 0.75-inch (19 mm) aluminum dome tweeter. Unlike cheap piezo tweeters found in most budget speakers, this aluminum dome uses a neodymium magnet and ferrofluid cooling for superior high-frequency extension and clarity. The driver is built on a DMA-optimized stamped steel frame and includes breakaway mounting tabs for easy installation in various OEM locations.
